ABOUT US

Why Holly Senior Advisors

I never take for granted how much of a responsibility it is to help guide families through a challenging time. I treat every family the way I want to be treated. I put myself in your shoes, and I ask myself what would I do if this were my loved one. Holly is my mother’s name. She is my moral compass. She reminds me everyday of the great responsibility I have of helping families during a challenging time.

Your loved one isn't a product. They aren't a number. They are a human being with a history and a story to tell. The sad truth is the Senior Care world can be a fast paced chaotic space where Seniors are too often treated like just another product. Your loved one needs an advocate. Your loved one deserves to have an Advocate on their side that cares.

FAQs

Find answers to common questions about senior living and care options for your loved ones.

Not necessarily. Many people with Dementia do really well in Assisted Living. There is a point where your loved one with Dementia will likely require Memory Care. Let’s talk about what that looks like.

How long they will be there will depend on how much progress they are making in rehab, and if they are continuing to participate. I can absolutely help you sort through the options.

Traditional memory care will have a larger census and usually has more activities and outings. A family care home will be more quiet but the care will be more custom. Family care homes can be a fantastic alternative to a larger traditional memory care community for the right person.

Medicare will cover a short term rehab stay but not long term housing. If you or your loved one was a war-time Veteran or has a Long Term Care insurance policy they may qualify for benefits that would help cover these costs.
